"I feel that through the way I take my photos and what I capture while shooting from the hip in Vancouver is
a call to get to know people better. The photos lack the intimacy of portraiture because I don't know the
stories of the people I pass by. And I don't sugarcoat the homelessness and drug problem within Canada.
Street photography is documentary and that is who is on our streets. I hope people will think more about
checking in on their loved ones and getting to know their neighbours more."
